2 Corinthians 7:1-5
- Forgiving others means you are going to have to suffer.
- If, as a Christian, you do not repent of known sin, you will: a) be annoying to those around you; b) get in the way of your rewards; c) potentially lead yourself to be an apostasy.
- Don’t point fingers. True repentance means taking the blame for what you have done.
- God has every right to expect faithfulness from his people, like in a marriage.
- Perhaps there are failures in Christianity. That doesn’t mean Christianity is a failure.
- God is the God of the living.
- Be careful with what you have. Don’t waste what God has given you (monetarily or otherwise) on the flesh.
- Christ needs to be real to you. Because the devil is real and he’s not letting up.
- God will not violate your free will.
- “If you marry a child of the devil, you will have Satan as your father-in-law.”
- We don’t have to have an appointment to go to God – we can go right to Him, anytime.
- Faithlessness produces nothing good.
- The healthiest Christians are those who serve with Christians.
- Do not let the world write your spiritual dictionary.
- We aren’t trying to convert. We are trying to save. And we can’t do that without Christ.
